DARIUS MCCRAY IS Y&R'S MALCOLM RECAST

Entertainment Weekly is reporting, Darius McCrary (better known as Eddie Winslow from the 90's sitcom "Family Matters" a.k.a. Urkel) will be the recast of Y&R's Malcolm Winters, originally played my Shemar Moore from 1994-2002 & 2004-2005. Never thought of this idea! But I kind of like it, and the only draw back is how young McCrary is, making him seduce a couger when he was with Dru, and only 11 years when Lily was conceived. Oh, well, details details! Hope it turns out good!


Co-star Bryton James (Devon) also starred in Family Matters as Richie Winslow. McCrary has reportedly signed a multi-year contract and starts shooting today. Look for his first episode to air on Dec. 29.
