Tom Pelphrey to ATWT?
We Love Soaps has a new post up indicating that Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan, GL) is joining ATWT. We'll keep you posted.
Daytime Emmy Recap: B&B takes top spot, Williamson upset & MORE!
Well looks like Soaps-Now went 1 (technically 2)/9 for all of the categories I predicted. LOL. But here's how it went down.
In the category I predicted correctly, One Life to Live won Outstanding Directing up against Days of our Lives and All My Children.
I was wrong for Outstanding Writing which I thought would go to One Life to Live or The Bold and the Beautiful, in a surprising move the award went to General Hospital. All My Children was also nominated.
Vincent Irizarry (David, AMC) and Jeff Branson (Shayne, GL) shared the Supporting Actor Award, which wasn't really surprising even though Jacob Young (JR, AMC) was my favorite. I predicted Branson to win and then ranked Irizarry after Young. Those three were competing against also Bradford Anderson (Spinelli, GH) and Van Hansis (Luke, ATWT).
I predicted that there would be a close battle between Julie Marie Berman (Lulu, GH) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie, GH), and that Storms would pull it out in the end. However it was her co-star Berman who pulled it away and won the Outstanding Younger Actress award. Also up for the award was Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea, DAYS), Meredith Hagner (Liberty, ATWT), and Emily O'Brien (Jana, Y&R).
In arguably the biggest shocker of the night, Tamara Braun (ex-Ava, DAYS) took away the Outstanding Supporting Actress award, after several had predicted Williamson undoubtely had the award sealed away, but there was indication that Braun may get the award, and she did. Other nominees were Julie Pinson (Janet, ATWT), Melissa Claire Egan (Annie, AMC) and Alicia Minshew (Kendall, AMC).
Darin Brooks (ex-Max, DAYS) won Outstanding Younger Actor, and I unsuccessfully predicted Cornelius Smith Jr. (Frankie, AMC), whom I was rooting for, but Brooks winning was not surprising. Other noms were Blake Berris (ex-Nick, DAYS), EJ Bonilla (Rafe, GL), and Bryton James (Devon, Y&R)
In a sort of not so surprising turn of events, Susan Haskell (Marty, OLTL) took away the Outstanding Lead Actress award! Haskell was not shorthanded during many predictions, however her fellow vet nominess Debbi Morgan (Angie, AMC) and Jeanne Cooper (Kay, Y&R) had been predicted to win gold. Also up for the award were Maura West (Carly, ATWT), and Susan Flannery (Stephanie, B&B).
In another not-surprise, even though like me, many people were rooting for the wonderful Peter Reckell (Bo, DAYS), academy-favorite Christian LeBlanc (Michael, Y&R) won the Outstanding Lead Actor award. Also nominated were Tony Geary (Luke, GH), Daniel Cosgrove (Bill, GL) and Thorsten Kaye (Zach, AMC).
Even though I said B&B SHOULD win, I predicted that AMC's CGI tornado would win perhaps. But The Bold and the Beautiful did steal the top award from All My Children and Days of our Lives.

Soaps-Now's 2009 Daytime Emmy Predictions!
Outstanding Drama Series
Who would have competed from jump start: Y&R would have won hands down if they submitted Sabrina's funeral, Victor and Nikki in Mexico, or Kay's death. You know, OLTL wasn't bad during Nash's death and the aftermath of Dorian's takeover, Sarah's plunging down the river, or the Bitchy Bangs' wedding.
Who should win: B&B's acting, great storylines (ex. Katie and Storm) should propel the #2 sudser in America to the top prize.
Who will win: However AMC's CGI tornado which received mixed reviews from critics could very well in the prize. I didn't think it was too shabby, and we lost faux Babe. DAYS plane crash was great but I don't think it's a lock.
Ranking the noms: 1) B&B, 2) AMC, 3) DAYS
Likelihood of taking home the prize (1-10, 10 highest): B&B - 8, AMC - 6, DAYS - 4
Outstanding Directing
Who should win: Even though DAYS plane crash was done well, OLTL's Who Wants to be a Millionaire-esque seen should prevail.
Who will win: AMC's tornado has a shot of taking the gold with the perfection that was DAYS and OLTL.
Ranking the noms: 1) DAYS, 2) OLTL, 3) AMC
Likelihood of taking home the prize (1-10, 10 highest): DAYS - 6, OLTL -6, AMC -4
Outstanding Writing
Who should win: B&B, OLTL is close.
Who will win: B&B, but pulling up for the underdog, OLTL may take the prize.
Ranking the noms: 1) OLTL, 2) B&B, 3)AMC 4)GH
Likelihood of taking home the prize (1-10, 10 highest): B&B - 7, OLTL- 7, AMC-3, GH-2
Outstanding Lead Actress
Who should win: This category is hands down the most competitive category, and I see two possible "should-wins" in AMC's Debbi Morgan and Y&R's Jeanne Cooper. OLTL's Susan Haskell should come up pretty good too.
Who will win: It will be a tough battle between Cooper and Morgan but I think Jeanne Cooper will prevail.
Ranking the noms: 1) Jeanne Cooper, 2)Debbi Morgan, 3)Susan Haskell, 4)Susan Flannery, 5) Maura West
Likelihood of taking home the prize: Cooper - 8, Morgan- 7, Haskell-6, Flannery-3, West-1
Outstanding Lead Actor
Who would have competed from jump start: It would have been a battle between Trevor St. John (Todd, OLTL) and Eric Braeden (Victor, Y&R)
Who should win: DAYS' Peter Reckell absolutely. Y&R's LeBlanc has a slim upset chance.
Who Will Win: Reckell should pull the overall victory. LeBlanc could easily challenge though, and emmy fave GH's Anthony Geary. Although I even think AMC's Thorsten Kaye's scenes or GL's Daniel Cosgrove's could challenge that court ordeal dream sequence with Luke. Emmy favies Geary and LeBlanc don't need to take a trophy this year.
Ranking the noms: 1) Peter Reckell, 2) Christian LeBlanc, 3)Daniel Cosgrove, 4) Thorsten Kaye, 5) Anthony Geary
Likelihood of taking home the prize: Reckell - 8, LeBlanc - 5, Cosgrove- 3, Kaye-1, Geary-5
Outstanding Supporting Actress
Who would have competed from jump start: I don't think I've said this before, but I'm not a Kathy Brier fan, but I was soon turned into one when she changed her hair, and had to admit he might could have made this list.
Who should win: Bree Williamson performed brilliantly as first of all flipping out after Nash's death, then as Jess and her alters, and she deserves to win gold this year.
Who will win: Definitely, no doubt about it Williamson will take home the trophy this year. Tamara Braun will strongly contend as another wack, Ava on DAYS. If heavy hitter Williamson and Braun weren't in the category, the under-under dog Mellissa Claire Egan may have had a chance as another wack yet again Annie on AMC, and maybe Alicia Minshew as AMC's Kendall. I wasn't too sold on ATWT's Julie Pinson, but hey, like I say I'm not an avid ATWT fan.
Ranking the noms: 1)Bree Williaamson, 2)Tamara Braun, 3)Melissa Claire Egan, 4)Alicia Minshew, 5) Julie Pinson
Likelihood of taking home the prize: Williamson - 9, Braun -3, Egan - 3, Minshew -2, Pinson-1
Outstanding Supporting Actor
Who would have competed from jump start: Sad shame Y&R's Michael Graziadei wasn't on here.
Who should win: Almost every pundit is betting on GL's Jeff Branson, who was great. But however, I'm going for a semi-equaled Jacob Young from AMC after Babe's death.
Who will win: As much as I'm rooting for Young and hoping he wins, the Academy will most likely go with Branson or ATWT's Van Hansis, who has done better in the past. Sorry Bradford Anderson but comedic won't win gold. Let's go Young!
Ranking the noms: 1) Jeff Branson, 2)Jacob Young, 3)Vincent Irizarry, 4)Van Hansis, 5)Bradford Anderson
Likelihood of taking home the prize: Branson-7, Young-6, Hansis-4, Irizarry-4, Anderson-2
Outstanding Younger Actress
Who would have competed from jump start: OLTL's Kristen Alderson has a case for a lawsuit to go down!
Who should win: GH's Kirsten Storms. However he co-star Julie Marie Berman's performances will challenge.
Who will win: It will be a Storms/Berman duel but I'm pulling for Kirsten but Julie may pull it out in the end.
Ranking the noms: 1)Kirsten Storms, 2)Julie Marie Berman, 3)Emily O'Brien, 4)Rachel Melvin, 5)Meredith Hagner
Likelihood of taking home the prize - Storms -8, Berman-7, O'Brien -4, Melvin-4, Hagner-2
Outstanding Younger Actor
Who would have competed from jump start: Not no way a case like Alderson has against the academy, but Brandon Buddy from OLTL should be mad as heck too! However, performances as druggy Cole should have him here next year. But we said that about Kristen Alderson too, and is she on this list?
Who should win: I'm all for Cornelius Smith, Jr. of AMC for the win!
Who will win: Great performers like ex-DAYS stars Blake Berris and Darin Brooks may steal the prize, along with Y&R's Bryton James.
Ranking the noms - 1)Cornelius Smith, Jr, 2)Darin Brooks, 3)Blake Berris, 4)Bryton James, 5)EJ Bonilla
Likelihood of taking home the prize - Smith- 6, Brooks - 6, Berris - 6, James- 4, Bonilla -1
Michael Fairman Soaps' 2009 Daytime Emmy Predix
Check out what daytime guru Michael Fairman decided for his Daytime Emmy predictions:
Here's a sample. Check out the article. In one of the most competitive lead actress categories in year, all five nominees showcased their talents in riveting shows that truly were some of their best work of the 2008 soap season. This is a close race to call, and 4 of the 5 (excluding West) I could justify to take home the Emmys. “OLTL’s” Haskell had the performance of last year as amnesiac Marty Saybrooke who falls in love with her former rapist and is lied to by him about her entire life back-story. In her scenes, Haskell is terrific, however since the Emmys are based on one show, Haskell suffers from jumpy cuts from scene to scene. On the other hand, “AMC’s” Debbi Morgan’s gut-wrenching performance as Dr. Angela Hubbard, who reunites with her husband for the first time in 20 years, via the dramatic train track scene, is stellar. Both Haskell and Morgan have won Emmys in the past in Supporting, so on Emmy night they could join the ranks of their other nominees, Flannery, Cooper and West, all who have won in this category before. “B&B’s” Susan Flannery gives a potential knockout punch as Stephanie, with a sensitive, emotional and heartfelt performance at the bed of her long-time life partner, Eric, who she believes is about to die. Last years’ winner, who gave the soap season’s overall best performance, Jeanne Cooper, chose a terrific tour de force between herself and herself. Yes, Jeanne plays Marge the drunk, and Katherine, the duchess, in the beginning of last years’ 'doppelganger’ story. Cooper won last year and could take the prize again. “ATWT’s” Maura West chose something a little less engaging for my taste, but it does delve into the complexities of star-crossed lovers Jack and Carly and signifies her year-long battle with the bottle.

Rambin, de los Reyes, dismss Y&R rumors
Last week's Soapgeist reported of rumors that possibly Leven Rambin (ex-Lily, AMC) was contacted to play the role of Daisy, a new classmate of Noah's on Y&R, and that Kamar de los Reyes was about to join the top sudser also. However the two stars went to twitter to dismiss the rumors.
Rambin tweeted:No Y&R for me right now, peeps.
de los Reyes tweeted:
is not doing Y&R...very flattering...just a rumor.Read more...

GH's Barash to Muscular Dystrophy Association National Celebrity Ambassador.
By making public appearances at MDA events, starring in public service announcements and giving news media interviews, Barash will help raise public awareness of MDA’s battle against muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases. Barash has quietly been raising funds to support MDA scientific research and services programs by donating all the proceeds from sales of his professional quality photographs of landscapes and city scenes from around the world. He was motivated by his close friendship growing up in southern California with a young man who had Duchenne muscular dystrophy. When his friend died from effects of the disease, Barash determined he would work in behalf of MDA to help find treatments and a cure for the disease that usually proves fatal for young men by the time they reach their 20s. Recently Barash decided to increase the level of his volunteer support for MDA not only by selling prints of his photos, but also copies of his new book of photography at General Hospital Fan Club events. He also visited MDA headquarters in Tucson, Ariz., in July to tape spots for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, the Telethon National Online Auction, which he will chair, and public service announcements. He will also appear live on the show, and is keeping his extensive Twitter following constantly updated on his MDA activities. From Sept. 1 to 15, one of the items on the Telethon online auction will be a visit to the set of General Hospital, followed by lunch with Barash himself. The auction can be reached at www.mda.org/auctions. MDA President & CEO Gerald C. Weinberg said the Association is honored to have Barash on its celebrity team. “Brandon is totally dedicated to helping MDA in its mission,” Weinberg said. “We are delighted that such a talented young man has joined our team.” MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

My Faith in GH's Jason Morgan and Steve Burton is now restored.
Wow. It took a long time. I think Steve Burton needs a close haircut.
Anyway, I've always been neutral in the JaSam/Liason debate, but more toward JaSam because of the hotness, and Liason because of their child. However I'm moving closer and closer to JaSam!
DAYS' Bjorlin in accident ; AMC's Turner welcomes first child!
Boston.com is reporting DAYS star Nada Bjorlin (Chloe) was recently in a car accident that was almost caused the star serious harm.
We went flying,’’ she said, adding that had it not been for a castmate who held her back, she might have been window-bound. For the record, Bjorlin was not driving (the cast was driven around in a town car). The accident happened on Bjorlin’s way to Fenway Park, where she had been booked Friday to sing the national anthem before the Red Sox-Yankees game.
Check the article for more info.
In other news, Soap Opera Digest reported AMC's Aiden Turner (Aidan) and his wife Megan welcomed a baby girl Ciella Larryn Turner, born on August 21. Ciella weighed 9 lbs., 13 oz.. Congrats! Read more...
Gossip Girl News: Chuck's Same-Sex Kiss!
EW's Michael Ausiello is reporting that Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass, who was bisexual in the GG novel series, will kiss another man this season on CW's hit teen drama, Gossip Girl. Sadly it won't be one of his strictly heterosexual hottie co-stars Chace Crawford or Penn Badgley, but a former ATWT guest star named Neal Bledsoe.
Here's Ausiello's inside scoop:
It’s true! Multiple Gossip Girl insiders confirm to me exclusively that the CW phenom is currently shooting an episode for its upcoming third season in which Ed Westwick’s legendary lothario kisses another man.Check the Gossip Girl season premiere, September 14th at 9/8c Read more...So who’s the lucky guy? And what are the circumstances surrounding the same-sex smooch? Keep reading for all the spoilery details…
First things first: Sorry to disappoint, but no, it’s not Chace Crawford. Westwick’s “romantic” interest is up-and-comer Neal Bledsoe (CSI: NY, Guiding Light), who’s guest-starring in episode 6 as Josh Ellis, NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Since Josh is tasked with selecting an incoming student for the honor of delivering the freshman speech, he’s, shall we say, a person of interest to Blair. In fact, she’s so determined to snag the slot that she goes so far as to pimp out her boyfriend to the gay guy in charge.
The catch? All you need to know is there is one. Oh, and wait until you hear what Chuck says to Blair following the lip-lock. (Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Spoil.)
It was only a matter of time before GG played the maybe-gay card with Chuck, who swung both ways in Cecily von Ziegesar’s Gossip Girl books.
OLTL Tuesday Highlights
Overall a good episode today, in part thanks to the hot scenes in of Stacy seducing Schuyler wasn't too bad, I could have done without a Rex/Gigi romp on the floor, but it wasn't that bad. Layla finally finds out the truth about Fish, indirectly from Nick. We also see some Kyle/Cris screentime. As Tea is about to skip town possibly, Todd pours his heart out to her as they end the day by heading upstairs together. Meanwhile, Blair heads of to Tahiti.! Fish and John set a trap for bad-cop-helping-drug-thing Keaton. The first three clips correspond with the title, check Sky/Stacey and Gigi/Rex @ in the fourth clip (0:00-1:49), and the fifth clip (2:08-2:41, 5:11-5:39) There was a little bit more to it, but I couldn't get the clip.
Y&R Tuesday Highlights
With Adam's help, the psychiatrist says Ashley is under alot of stress and depression, and doesn't need to go to a mental hospital! Jack is outraged. Phyllis goes to see Sharon and questions her about Jack not seeing her. She says she's taking her advice and not leaning on her exes! As Phyllis leaves, shes sees Nick asking a doctor about Sharon. Phyllis is realizing the truth and confronts Jack about Sharon's baby's paternity and he lies.
Couldn't find the fanastic clips of bro & sis Patty and Paul today! As Patty takes Paul hostage they have a spat and she accidentally stabs him. They have a tender sibling moment until the cops are on their trail. Heather and JT are worried. Paul calls Todd who has contacted a local monestary to help them out, and this is where Paul and Patty head!
Nick/Sharon/Phyllis clip is included with Ashley/Jack/Victor/Adam, and for some reason the end scene in which Ash asks Adam to lay down with her until she falls asleep isn't included.
Lil Stuart's bio mom comes to AMC; Brit coming to GH, does Robin have sis?
Trouble for Turbo-Liza!
The bubble will burst wide open on AMC's Liza (Jamie Luner) next month when Baby Stuart's bio mom Bailey comes to town! 17-year old model Sofia Black-D'Elia has been cast in the role. A first airdate has not been announced yet.
Before it was announced that Black-D'Ella had been cast, AMC headwriter Charles Pratt said in an interview with ABC Soaps in Depth:"[This] young girl comes forward and thinks she's had a change of heart and wants her child back. Which, of course, reveals fake pregnancy to David and Colby," "Liza has to figure out what to do: get rid of her, trick her, fight her or befriend her." Pratt adds that Bailey will help the audience see a different side of the brassy lawyer. "I can promise a really interesting roller-coster ride and a nice way to peel back the onion on the character of Liza."
New Brit young woman coming to Port Chuck. Is she a Devane or Scorpio?
ABC Soaps in Depth also reported in their latest issue that GH is casting "Mischa", described as a "charming 25-year-old Brit with dark motives." The mag also included that "while the role is to start off as a heavily-recurring one, the soap does plan to eventually make the lucky actress a series regular." Could this be Anna (Finola Hughes)'s other daughter, and therefore Robin (Kimberly McCullough)'s sister, or is she a Devane cousin, perhaps Aidan (Aiden Turner) on AMC's sister? Could she be connected to Ethan (Nathan Parsons) and the show is just connecting a Brit to an Aussie role? Instead of Anna's daughter could she be the product of Holly (Emma Samms) and Robert (Tristan Rogers)? Time will tell....
ATWT Tomorrow: Blame it on the Allison

Kathy Griffin will also appear on the September 18th episode, and posh spice Victoria Beckham will fill in on September 14th. Casting Scoop: Gauthier returns to OLTL; Spears cast on B&B
Soap Opera Digest reported today that Dan Gauthier would be making a return appearance this fall on One Life to Live as Kevin Buchanan. Gauthier is the 12th overall portrayer of Kevin, and first portrayed the character from 2003-2006, and return in 2007 for the characters' grandfather Asa Buchanan's funeral.
Nelson Branco reported this a while back, now SOD is confirming that Aaron D. Spears has been cast on B&B in the contract role of Justin Barber, presumably and rumored to be Marcus's father. He will first air on September 14.

Monday Suds Flashes: Goldin to make LA move ; Kamar to Y&R
The Suds Report has juicy info for today.L.A. Story: Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake, AMC) will be making the move out to the west coast, report insiders. On a related note, isn’t it funny how Beth Ehlers (Taylor) turned down the role of Y&R's Patty Williams in favour of AMC because she didn’t want to move to Los Angeles?
Does Y&R's Rafe have an older brother? Rumours abound that Kamar de los Reyes (ex-Antonio, One Life) has joined Y&R. At press time, CBS had not returned Soapgeist’s calls for confirmation or a denial.

Y&R Suds Flashes: Is Olivia Out?, Rambin cast? ; Spoilers
Say wha? Here's what the Suds Report has to say about what's going on with Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia) In between gigs, Williams will be attending next week’s Y&R fan club dinner. “It’s always a fun time,” she says. “Our fans are the best.” As for Olivia, Williams says she wouldn’t mind if her love-starved character is romantically paired with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). “That’d be fun,” she adds. Just be careful not to tell Scott Hamner because he’ll tell Soap Opera Weekly that Y&R never planned to tell “an interracial storyline.”Has Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia) left the building? The Canadian star tells The Suds Report she “hasn’t worked in nine weeks!” But that’s OK, says Williams. As previously reported, the thrilled NAACP winner has been cast in the third season of CBC’s hit drama thriller, The Border. “I play the recurring role of Constance Meade, who is the Director of Intelligence and Detection for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. For authenticity, we’ve been shooting my scenes in Washington! It’s a great role and show.” Williams joins Battlestar Gallatica/The Cleaner star — and fellow Canuck — Grace Park on the series. “You know you’re in the future when a Canadian show casts a Canadian as an American! It’s usually the other way around,” she laughs. Just don’t tell Tom Ridge, Tonya — he has enough problems.
Speaking of Scott Hamner and Soap Opera Weekly -- No Gay storyline no more?WTF? Despite show runner Maria Arena Bell’s assertions in a recent TVGuide.ca interview that Y&R was planning on telling more than one gay storyline this summer and fall, co-head writer Scott Hamner refutes that claim to Soap Opera Weekly. Apparently, he says, “At this point, we are not doing a gay story, and we never actually were doing a gay story. I don’t see a future for Rafe and Adam.” Well, neither did we, Scotty! So what would you call Phillip Chancellor coming out of the closet? A PSA? Or a mistake? Y&R is really beginning to piss me off. Let’s review: It’s OK for an aunt and nephew to have sex, cheating on their respective family members; an adult woman to kiss a toddler on the lips after she ate a cookie the kid was allergic to, making the child brain-damaged in the process; and a woman oblivious to the fact that she miscarried her baby after her son-in-law accidentally scared her into a fall down a flight of stairs — but having two men kiss on-screen is too taboo for this soap? I preferred the days when head writer Maria Arena Bell handled the soap press herself.
Is Leven Rambin (ex-Lily/Ava, AMC) coming to Y&R?Is this a recast or a love interest for Noah? Or both? According to Digest and Weekly, Leven Rambin (ex-Lily/Ava, AMC) may have been approached by Y&R to test for a new role named Daisy, a student with a complicated past. Boy, does Y&R have an AMC fetish or something? Hey, I’m not complaining — I love me some Rambin.
Spoilz: Digest repors another Genoa City citizen will die. Nikki returns. Lily realizes she can't trust Cane. Billy fights for Chloe. MJ kidnaps Paul.
An Uh-Oh ATWT Shocker
The Suds Report hints that in the coming weeks, Liberty (Meredith Hagner) will learn she's pregnant! Good thing I'm not an avid ATWT viewer, because I wouldn't want to watch this wacked out version of OLTL's pregnancy storyline with Starr. The story won't even be as watchable if Austin Peck (Brad) won't be in the mix playing the over-protective father of Liberty, and man-handle Parker (Mick Hazen). Or is it even Parker's, I haven't been keeping up with Lib's storylines but is she dating another guy? And does this have anything to do with Brad's silly demise as the hands of Jack (Michael Park)?
AMC Suds Flashes: Stunning JR News; Riegel fires back!
Story information from Nelson Branco's Suds Report: JR will learn he has lymphoma, Angie will tell him the news next week. Natalia and Brot develop a relationship. Zach and Kendall will reportedly get their happily-ever-after in November. Madison will continue to air for now into November.
UPDATE: I don't know if this is what Nelson was referring to in his report, but I noticed that Gatschet was in the contract order of cast members in today's credits. Does this mean we'll see her in LA?
Eden Riegel tweeted after reports from Soap Opera Digest that she wouldn't be returning to the sudser when it moves to LA. She tweeted: "Just to let you guys know [Soap Opera Digest] doesn’t have any inside information concerning moi. I am still an enigma!”
From the Suds Report:
Meanwhile, Mr. Eden Riegel, a.k.a. Imaginary Bitches’ genius Andrew Miller, tells The Suds Report, “We’re thrilled to have AMC moving to L.A.! Especially since they’ve been trying so hard to incorporate imaginary characters into their storylines (Annie, Spike’s imaginary mom). With our two shows being in the same city, I hope they’ll feel comfortable coming to us for help and maybe together we can expand the opportunities for the imaginary community.”In move related news, the Suds Report repors:
Actors tell The Suds Report ABC is offering the contract cast stipends to compensate for moving expenses. Also, the show is still unsure which recurring actors will be welcomed in L.A.Read more...

The Buches, Fishfaces and Morascos: Reality in Llanview Thursday
As I have noted earlier, I haven't really given OLTL credit in being basically the top soap in daytime, but after today and previous episodes this week, I'm firm standing behind that this soap is at the top of the daytime ladder. Compared to its nearest competitor, Y&R, OLTL can go to sadly dramatic then ecstatically hilarious, and back to a happy medium in between.
Again as I have noted before, Crystal Hunt and the Stacy storyline is improving, no thanks to JPL or FF, but to Hunt and Amanda Setton who were fantastic today and I liked dragging Fish into the scene too! I think Crystal Hunt is making sure Marcy Rylan won't be taking her job anytime soon, who replaced her when she left her old job! Hunt improves in every episode, and now slowly, but surely is at least attempting to living up to deserving her emmy-nod as GL's Lizzie. At first I was hesitant bringing on Amanda Setton on the scene as Kim, but now I'm glad it happened, and now the Stacy story doesn't even seem delusional as it once was.
Then I didn't like Nicholas Rodriguez as Nick as much as today as yesterday, mostly because his shirt was on and he didn't strip down in front of Fish. But he and Kyle weren't too shabby today, as Kyle opens up to him about Fish with the description "short, blond hair & cute." But that Layla walking in on Stacey and Fish after the earlier refuses to keep hold on to Rex and get pregnant. Tika Sumpter was on point, and she beat John-Paul Lavioser x100 in the facial expressions category when Kim told her they couldn't come into the apartment, but I'll get into that later. I'm hoping things change a little soon, because Fish is getting kind of old with all of this stuff, but definitely not Kyle! Brett Claywell brings it every time, and I'm not saying it's Scott Evans, or that it is the storyline of Fish denying his sexuality, I'm just recommending things be mixed up a bit. By mixing up I also hope Nick stays on longer. I began to enjoy Rex apologizing to Schuyler at the beginning until he started acting superficial again, and today JPL pulled out some facial expressions that I wasn't a big fan of, and if you follow me on twitter, I'm addicted to JPL's facial expressions!
Good thing I didn't have a quote of the day, or wrote down Tuc Watkins' lines today because I'd have a page full! The Buchanan scenes were awesome today, and the dialogue was spot on. I even sort of liked Jerry verDorn, whom I even said the other day wasn't one of my favorites as Clint Buchanan. Eddie Alderson was also great today, especially when the reveal came that Matthew asked his brother David's help in funding his trial, which followed Hillary B. Smith's Nora to lunge at her son-in-law! Matthew also agreed to help David for anything else he needs. Bo threatened to arrest Clint for shooting, only for ALL of them minus Matthew to run off David, Markko, and the rest of his crew, with yet another gunshot by Clint!
In other "Buches" news, fellow Buchanans Natalie and Jess had a sort of interesting day in which Jessica tried to communicate with Nash from the great beyond, and Brody tells Nat and Jared his theories on Jess's stalker!
Now to the highlights!
