Just who is Pine Valley's D.A.?

After seeing that the PV's new DA Andrew Willis would be appearing through the summer, I just decided to learn more about the critical D.A.'s portrayer, Lorenzo Pisoni, not expecting to find all that. However, I came to find out that Pisoni is not just your typical not-name-dropper. Pisoni came to widespread attention last fall as he played the interest of Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe's Broadway play, Equus. The play itself only came to attention because Radcliffe appeared nude in the play. Radcliffe who is 19, wrote hot, racy, sexual notes to Pisoni, 31, in order to get Pisoni in "wound up". Radcliffe stated that he was straight, but also said about Pisoni "If I was gay or a female, I'd want to marry him. He's gorge
ous, and he's a real cool bloke as well." For those of you like me who need clarification on this play Equus, Radcliffe's character is a stable boy who has a sexual fascination with horses, and Pisoni plays a horse, so neither role is gay.
The New York Post interviewed Pisoni a bit later after news got around of what Radcliffe did. When asked about the whole thing, Pisoni stated "Honestly, I think he was trying to embarrass me!" "It's crazy how it spread," Pisoni added. "I've heard from a lot of friends I've not heard from in ages, mocking me and congratulating me on my possible nuptials."
Pisoni is the son of the founders of San Fransisco's Pickle Family Circus. When asked about Radcliffe, Pisoni said, "He's fantastic," Pisoni adds. "Very sharp, well-read and with a wicked sense of humor. [The show] is not about him, it's about us." That said, he adds, "I don't want to be known as the guy who dropped Harry Potter."
Stay tuned to AMC to see if Pisoni remains a day player or if they decide to flesh out the role during his stay.
