Y&R's Kevin Schmidt likely to leave

Newsarama.com is reporting that Y&R's Kevin Schmidt (Noah) has been cast in a new live-action-hour-long series on Cartoon Network aimed at teens called Unnatural History Schmidt will be the lead character who is a "he son of globe-trotting anthropologists who has trouble when he stops traveling and starts attending high school." Schmidt also got a big break when he had a role in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Princess Protection Program also starring Selena Gomez, Demil Lovato, and Nick Braun. The site says that "Schmidt's web seires Poor Paul will also be going for a second season, though its presumed his role on daytime soap Young and the Restless will end." Paging Zack Conroy, but is he too old? I'd still rather see him as Jack's son.
